Crimea Beaches Ukraine

I’m jealous rotten. I was suppose to go with my wife to the Crimea this summer and instead work has me stuck stateside. Sucks. I called my wife to wish her a happy birthday and she was laying on the beach in the Crimea. She said “Honey, it is so beautiful here I wish you were here”.

Those words took me back to my last divorce from an American woman. I never once heard those words. I heard we need more money, I hate cleaning the house, why can’t you take care of the kids more etc. etc. Those words, “Honey, it is so beautiful here, I wish you were here” is the reason I married a foreign woman.

Before she left for the Ukraine (and understand she had to go for the summer so she could spend a month at the University to finish her degree) she told me that if I wanted her to stay she would cancel her plans and stay with me. (She didn’t want me to be lonely). Something else you never hear from an American woman.

Anyway, the last month is upon us and she will be returning in less than 30 days with over 200 pictures of the Crimea, Berdansk, Zaporojie, Melitopol, Kiev and all the other places she has visited. Stay tuned because I told her to take pictures of lots of the pretty girls on the street (80% of them are in miniskirts at this time of the year) and I’ll post them here.

Remember, you could be married to a beautiful Ukraine girl also. There was a time when I wasted years sitting dreaming of a beautiful wife that would love me and be everything I dreamed of. The years clicked by and when I finally crossed the 50 and years were still clicking by I knew I could either find the bride I had dreamed of my whole life or die wishing I had actually taken action. I promise you will never regret marrying a girl from the Ukraine. I know I haven’t. My wife just turned 31, looks like a model and worships the ground I walk on.

Ukraine Outlaws the Possession of Pornography

The Ukraine is full of beautiful women. Miniskirts are everywhere and low cut blouses abound on the streets. But they are all very concerned about becoming known as the sex capital of the world.

KIEV, Ukraine — Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko signed a law into effect yesterday making possession of pornography a criminal offense.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice, pornography may only be kept “for medical purposes.” Punishment for possession will include fines and up to three years of imprisonment.

The draft of the law was prepared by the Ukrainian government and passed with 343 out of 450 votes by the parliament — the Supreme Rada — on June 11. Previously, Ukrainian law only targeted people who produced or distributed pornography.

Possession, sale and dissemination of pornography is defined by police and courts. Free-speech proponents and human-right activists are protesting the law calling it controversial since nowhere in the draft is pornography clearly defined.

According to reports, the only working definition, featured in 2003 legislation, is based on personal judgment: “Pornography is vulgar, candid, cynical, obscene depiction of sexual acts, pursuing no other goal, the explicit demonstration of genitals, unethical elements of the sexual act, sexual perversions, realistic sketches that do not meet moral criteria and offend honor and dignity of the human by inciting low instincts.”

In a statement by lawmaker Hennadiy Moskal, he defends the ban by stating it would not be abused and that it may be improved with amendments in the future.

“I am sure that number of cases won’t increase,” he said.

Fleeing the Ukraine . . . My wife wants to come home

Skype with my wife and I guess she is tired of Papa’s German Shepherd. As I wrote before he has gone to the sea and she has been watching the dog for the last week. Like me she is not a early to bed early to rise kind of person and the dogs 6:00 a.m. bathroom break is wearing her out. Becuase Papa lives in a highrise apartment/flat it is necessary for her to get up every morning and take the dog out into the woods (Papa lives in thd middle of nowhere) so the dog can take care of business.

I was so glad to hear her say she loved being home (her parents place in the Ukraine) but was looking forward to being back in America. She even said she wanted to get a job now that she has her social security card and green card (they both showed up just before she left). Now don’t get me wrong I’m happy to see her go start work because that extra contact with people will help her speak English. But frankly I”m going to miss coming home and having her through her arms around me and fresh bread, cookies or other after work/treats sitting on the table. Maybe it will be a part time job . . . .I hope, I hope, I hope.

You never know how much you love someoone until they are gone. Man I miss that girl.

German Shepherd and Mail Order Bride: She is fine

I reached my wife by Skype and we had a great conversation. She has been house sitting her fathers German Shepherd (every other day with her sister who takes turns) while he is vacationing off the Black Sea. I have seen the pictures of this dog and he is quite the big dog even for a German Shepherd.

Our daughter is back from Moscow and has a few pictures I will be posting but apparently the battery went dead on the camera and we forgot to pack for her the adapter so she can run the Ukraine/Russian power into the camera. (Which reminds me guys when you go to the Ukraine be sure to take these little adapters or you are going to be without an electric shaver, use of your laptop etc. etc.).

So I have told them to take lots of pictues in Kiev and Zaporojie and particularly at the Sea where they are going to vacation themselves for 10 days starting on July 6th. I’m really missing the wife but it was great to hear her voice. She told me she is starting to forget English and she was struggling putting some sentences together. Ironically the daughter who when she came to America nine months ago could not speak a word of English and kept saying (shonk a dahl -what did he say) now speaks better English than her mother who took seven years of English in the Ukraine. (Another reminder is don’t worry about having your lady take English lessons in the Ukraine. Every girl wants to take English lessons but lessons in the Ukraine are worthless because the girl has nobody to speak English with . . . ).

Talked with my Ukraine Girlfriend

I talked to my Ukraine girlfriend today. It was so very good to hear her voice. She rated her English as an advanced beginner but I don’t think, “Hello Mike, How are you” as really being an advanced beginner when there is nothing else following it. (Thank heavens for the Lovedbyher.com translator who was there to translate).

I had been up watching the Iran Protestors most of the night and following their twits on #Iranelection who what I take is inside Iran keeping the rest of us updated. Anyway just watching some of these people going out knowing it might be their last time was very moving. It made me think that in the event I do get married how hard it must be for my girl to leave her family and come to America to be with me. What a sacrifice on her part. And then I know I will worry everytime that she leaves to visit her family if she will be safe. The world is such a bad place with so many bad people that last night watching the video of people crying Allah Akbar made me wonder if God is listening to all this what he is thinking.

Anyway, my girl friend and I talked about what we want in life, if we did get married what about having children (she wants 2 and I want 4) and about her continuing her education. I’m not rich but I’m fine if she doesn’t want to continue her University studies. But for her she tells me it is important for herself that she finish her bachelor degree and get her masters. She isn’t sure what she will do in America but she wants to be prepared to work in case the family needs it. (Wow what a difference from American chicks who just want to sit on their rear ends while the guy is working 2 jobs).

I’m more excited than ever to go and meet her. She sent me more pictures and she is more beautiful than ever. Such a gentle person and yet so strong. Hopefully, this is going to work out.

Going to meet my love in the Ukraine

Well guys I have agreed to write a little on this forum for Lovedbyher.com as I prepare to go to the Ukraine end of July to meet my future wife. I can tell you I’m scared and grateful.

I started writing (I’ll call her Elena – just in case things don’t work out) about three months ago. She has one child (I wanted a girl with children so later I didn’t have to worry about Mother Natures time clock) and she lives in Zaporojie.

Out of all the girls I have written on Lovedbyher.com she seemed the one most down to earth and realistic in her expecations. I’m a middle class working kind of guy so I didn’t want a lady that was expecting that lap of luxury or some million dollar mansion when she got here. I know I haven’t met her in person and I’m a little nervous but I’ll keep you posted.

Also, I should mention (more like thank) Lovedbyher.com for going out of their way and giving me a private tour and private translator. She will meet me in Kiev and ride the train with me to Zaporojie. The cost was less than a movie and popcorn in the states so I’ll keep you update on my private love tour.

Ukraine Economy Tumbles Down (Good for us Guys)

Hey Guys. I just talked to my wife (for you guys that have followed my rantings you know that I’m recently married to a girl 20+ years younger than myself from the Ukraine) via Skype today and she says the Ukraine economy has really gotten bad. Inflation has driven the cost of goods up, up, up and the economic crash has forced people out of work and those still employed aren’t expecting raises anytime this year.

I suppose if I was still a bachelor that might be a good time to strike. After all I noticed that LovedbyHer.com has increased the number of beautiful women on their site and my wife tells me that some of her friends have decided to sign up also (trust me my wife being the 10 she is only has 10 plus friends) so look for good things soon:-)

On a serious note I’m so glad I got married when I did. Everytime my wife tells me she loves and misses me my ticker skips a beat. I miss her so much bouncing around in the house without my best friend. I never would have imagined that a beautiful woman laying next to me at night, clean clothes, a friend to share a laugh with, warm meals on the table every night and incredible times between the sheets would be so important to me (ok, maybe I did know how important this:-)

Our anniversary of meeting is this month. I still remember taking her bowling, visiting the church in Kiev, going to the movie and thinking what a lucky guy I was. Actually, I had been lucky 7-8 times that week because I met my wife on the second to the last day before I left country. Every day before then I had dated at least 1-2 women each day and everyone of them was gorgeous.

Well, I better close. The wife said she would take some pictures of girls in the Ukraine just walking the street (my request) and I’ll post them later so you guys can see that Ukraine is a mans paradise.

Like I say keep sitting on the couch feeding your face and getting fatter, older and uglier or get up and find the woman of your dreams in the Ukraine.

Ukraine Women: Are they really worth it?

My wife has gone home for the summer. She needed to complete her university degree and it was a good chance for her to visit her family also. Before she left I was kind of looking forward to the “bachelor” time away from family life. I was wrong.

I never realized how much she does or how utterly crippled I am without her. Ok, I cried at the airport when she left but then I cry easily:-)

However, the first morning of her absence I knew I was in trouble. There was no bacon and eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls or the normal breakfast feast that she puts on. Now in fairness before she left she ironed 15 shirts (it was all I had) so that I wouldn’t have to iron while she was gone.

That afternoon when my son (former marriage) came home from school he said he was hungry. I then remembered that my Ukraine wife had freshly baked cookies, cakes, or some other treat waiting for him every day that he came home. I tried to find something for him to eat but I realized that I had forgotten how to cook. Like a dog that has been domesticated I had forgotten how to hunt.

Finally, I decided that I better go to the gym (I told my wife before she left that I was going to work out every day while she was gone so I would fit into my powder blue levi’s when she returns . . . I have since decided to purchase a larger sized pair) but when I went to get my IPOD ear buds and recharger I remembered that she always packed those things for me (and made sure I had freshly washed gym clothes) and I couldn’t find them.

I’m now crossing off the days on the wall until my wife returns . . . . . .

Remember, that dreams are never as good as having a beautiful Ukraine wife who spoils you rotten. They do everything that you have ever dreamt of having a wife do and more. It is the best investment that I have ever made. I kick myself every day that I didn’t go to the Ukraine and find a Ukraine wife years ago. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and waste half your life. You can be happy today with the simple click of a mouse.
