Mail Order Brides: Learning English

My mail order bride is stateside now and has been here for two months. We are learning a lot together both about each other and about the benefits and perils of not able to fully communicate.

However, it is wonderful to have one of these girls because they are so gentle, loving and understanding. But just so you can have a laugh at my expense here is two funny stories for you.

We were at Hooters in Dallas and my mail order bride says to me, “What is Horny”. For you guys that have been in Hooters you know that it is most tables of guys at 2:30 p.m. – - tables for three rows around us swirled their heads around on that one.

Another time we were at a Dallas Cowboys game when she wanted me to buy some peanuts for her. She couldn’t properly pronounce peanuts so she was saying “penis” and telling me she “wants some penis”. It was so much fun I let her say it 2-3 times before I corrected her. – - Learning/teaching English with this women is lots of fun.

I have noticed that our relationship continues to improve as does her English. In the beginning there is a lot of misunderstandings because you wont be able to fully explain things to her. She wont understand that maybe you have more money at the beginning of the month and are kind of a tight wad the week before payday. Once she gets where she can understand this concept and can regulate the family budget/needs around your paydays it will be no problem at all.

A side issue is that you and she will both put weight on because you will want to share with her the thrill of nachos, hamburgers, hot dogs, freeze at QT, KFC, Taco Bueno and 7-11 brownies. I put on 10 lbs in 2 months and now I’m struggling to get the weight back off. Because she is 20 years younger she has put on a few lbs but her metabolism strips weight off like it is a knife cutting through butter.

I know you guys are all wondering about what sex is like with a mail order bride so without being gross let me share. Fantastic!!! Don’t expect to hear the word “no” and look forward to learning some new “tricks”. It has been a wonderful experience and something I worried about considering that in the Ukraine public signs of affection are considered poor taste. But, behind closed doors these girls can really show a man that what happens in public and what happens in the bedroom are two different things.

Finally, let me tell you that how you treat these girls makes all the difference. I have made sure I dated my girl from the moment she arrived. Little things like picking up $9.95 dozen roses at Tom Thumb and taking her for walks. It wasn’t about money but about the time I spent with her that brought us together. Please listen on this one because I have a buddy that went with me to the Ukraine and his mail order bride is going back to the Ukraine on November 9th. He didn’t “date” her or take her out and just assumed that she would never leave because she didn’t have the money. Laugh on him because her father bought her an airline ticket and she returns home in 2 1/2 weeks. Treat your girl like the beautiful women that you went to the Ukraine to find and of which she is and you rewards will never stop.

Mail Order Brides: LOVEDBYHER SAVES MY MARRIAGE

Dear Lovedbyher Staff,

I wanted to send you this quick email and THANK YOU for saving my marriage. When my fiancee came to the USA you were there with timely advice and pointers on how to re-ignite the spark we had in Kiev. Being a man I just thought that my emails and phone calls would be enough during the 6 month seperation while the consulate processed our K-1 Fiancee VISA paperwork. (I had forgotten that although I could hold her picture each night the six months was 12 years for a women that was sensitive to “touch”). For that reason when Svitlana arrived in the USA it was really more of a dating and reaquaintance than a continuation of our Kiev summer “love”. But thanks to you guys that love not only grew but flourished.

Svitlana really looked forward to your weekly calls during the early months just so she could speak Russian/Ukrainian for that 30 minutes/1 hour. Your “check up” calls were the anchor that kept her in place as she struggled to learn English and helped her to understand the many things I was doing to make our life better. THANK YOU.

The tip about Skype probably saved me thousands of dollars and the info on Fedex and USPS were also great money savers. (I think all in all if you lined up the dollars that I spent using your service and then compared it to the thousands you saved me with little tips I’m probably still deeply in debt – Thanks again).

Finally, I want to thank my Ukraine translator for going the extra mile and helping me throughout the selection process. She was a jewel.
