I reached my wife by Skype and we had a great conversation. She has been house sitting her fathers German Shepherd (every other day with her sister who takes turns) while he is vacationing off the Black Sea. I have seen the pictures of this dog and he is quite the big dog even for a German Shepherd.
Our daughter is back from Moscow and has a few pictures I will be posting but apparently the battery went dead on the camera and we forgot to pack for her the adapter so she can run the Ukraine/Russian power into the camera. (Which reminds me guys when you go to the Ukraine be sure to take these little adapters or you are going to be without an electric shaver, use of your laptop etc. etc.).
So I have told them to take lots of pictues in Kiev and Zaporojie and particularly at the Sea where they are going to vacation themselves for 10 days starting on July 6th. I’m really missing the wife but it was great to hear her voice. She told me she is starting to forget English and she was struggling putting some sentences together. Ironically the daughter who when she came to America nine months ago could not speak a word of English and kept saying (shonk a dahl -what did he say) now speaks better English than her mother who took seven years of English in the Ukraine. (Another reminder is don’t worry about having your lady take English lessons in the Ukraine. Every girl wants to take English lessons but lessons in the Ukraine are worthless because the girl has nobody to speak English with . . . ).
