Skype with my wife and I guess she is tired of Papa’s German Shepherd. As I wrote before he has gone to the sea and she has been watching the dog for the last week. Like me she is not a early to bed early to rise kind of person and the dogs 6:00 a.m. bathroom break is wearing her out. Becuase Papa lives in a highrise apartment/flat it is necessary for her to get up every morning and take the dog out into the woods (Papa lives in thd middle of nowhere) so the dog can take care of business.
I was so glad to hear her say she loved being home (her parents place in the Ukraine) but was looking forward to being back in America. She even said she wanted to get a job now that she has her social security card and green card (they both showed up just before she left). Now don’t get me wrong I’m happy to see her go start work because that extra contact with people will help her speak English. But frankly I”m going to miss coming home and having her through her arms around me and fresh bread, cookies or other after work/treats sitting on the table. Maybe it will be a part time job . . . .I hope, I hope, I hope.
You never know how much you love someoone until they are gone. Man I miss that girl.
